Got Questions?

Q: How do I know exactly what technologies my company needs?

A: There are a myriad of factors that determine the answer to this question.

Are you trying to address an immediate need or are you developing a long-term strategy to meet future goals? We can promise you this...we will never try to upsell you on technology "bells and whistles" that you don't need.  We will take a comprehensive look at your environment, infrastructure, workflows and the current challenges your employees experience to help us create the most cost-effective solution that's the right fit for your organization.

Q: When should I contact someone about my Structured Cabling need?

A: We suggest you contact us as early in your planning process as possible, ideally while you're developing your architectural plan. As part of our comprehensive proposal, we will mark the cabling requirements to deliver your customized communications infrastructure on your office blueprints.  Whether you're setting up new office space, moving or renovating existing space, we like to get in early and not only plan for your immediate needs, but also your future needs. We are business professionals, too, and we understand the importance of cost management. That's why we ask the right questions up front that will allow us to design the perfect communications technology for your space. Even more important, this approach avoids costly retrofits for new cable runs and other system adjustments down the line.

Q: How much does a cabling project cost?

A: Because each project has its own intricacies, we complete a thorough inspection of your space to determine the scope and provide a competitive quote. We may not always be the least expensive, but our clients trust that we will provide an accurate consultation and the best options available. We get the job done right. We pride ourselves on our professional integrity and client relationships.

Q: Do you complete the work yourself or contract it out?

A: On The Mark technicians are on the job site from planning through project completion. We act as part of your team and as a helpful resource for additional products and services you may need. We work with several trusted partners who provide the phone systems, security cameras, video equipment, etc., that we will install and network in your office space. We serve as project manager to ensure changes in project scope, timeline, budget are communicated across the On The Mark team and our partners. This keeps our clients up-to-date throughout the project. If our customers wish to interface directly with one of the product vendors, we're happy to make that connection. We don't mark up their services and, in fact, we keep the billing separate so customers can best manage their total cost projection.
